Item description

Murano glass chandelier attributable to Barovier & Toso's “Medusa” series, late 1930s. Twisted glass structure, with straight stem above and oval below, framing the single flared cup diffuser in clear glass, embellished with relief applications of wavy pink glass rope, arranged according to horizontal circumferences. Same decoration on the canopy and conical element at the bottom. The fittings are made of gilt brass. Wear consistent with age and use.
