Item description
Pair of solifleur ceramic vases in the shape of a prickly pear shovel, one of the icons of Mediterranean flora, 1960s. Handmade and signed by Stelmo, pseudonym of Stelio Mola, they bring a touch of Sardinian authenticity and tradition. Each piece depicts a prickly pear shovel, with careful detailing that enhances its natural beauty. The ceramics feature flowers on top, adding a touch of color and realism. On the bottom of each piece is the signature "Fico d'India 'Stelmo' Cagliari," guaranteeing the authenticity and origin of the work; "fico d'India" is the italian word for "prickly pear". Each piece is unique, thanks to the craftsmanship that gives unrepeatable details. Perfect for embellishing any room, these vases add a touch of elegance and tradition. Ideal for collectors and art lovers, they represent a piece of Sardinian culture. Both have slight defects.
