Item description

Pair of Baroque lacquered wood sculptures depicting angel heads with wings, mid-18th century. Coming from Spain. They are carved from a single piece of wood and decorated in polychrome lacquer. They are excellently made, the faces are beautiful and you can still make out the various shades of complexion, red lips and the dark part of the hair. The two angels are in good condition, showing no flaws or breaks but only some signs of age, as is normal for such antique objects (please look carefully at the photographs which are very detailed).
