Important industrial island counter, completely restored, with rusty finish and solid blond walnut top. Recovered industrial workbench, the frame of which was sandblasted and then etched to obtain a natural rust finish on the iron parts, as well as the fronts of the six drawers. The profile frame was brushed to a high gloss, and the whole was then finished in transparent two-component paint to permanently lock in the effect obtained. The three drawers on each front, with a total of six drawers, have original chrome-plated steel handles. The 5-cm-thick worktop, 2.5 cm of which is solid blond walnut planking, was taken from a mid-century vicarage table, sanded and finished with neura wax to extract the natural grain. The upper deck with a wood-finish shelf support is traversed at the top by a longitudinal pulley to which 8 hooks can be attached, and each can slide along the entire length of the counter... This part was called the 'overhead crane'. The overhead crane is detachable from the bench by means of two bolts, making a normal flat bench. The feet are insulated from the ground with a special rubber felt that is very strong given the weight of the table. An M12 thread is however provided at the base of each foot for the attachment of 4 castors (supplied) to facilitate movement. Placement of this work table is preferable in the middle of the room, as drawers are located on both sides. Dimensions: H. max. 93.5 cm - H. without wheels 81.5 cm - D. 80 cm - L. 210 cm.
