The Giants Struck by Debris is an Original Print realized in 17th Century by the Italian artist Pietro Santi Bartoli (1635 - 1700). Engraved from the original fresco painting of "Sala dei Giganti" by celebrated painter and architect Giulio Romano (1499 ca – 1546). Good condition on laid paper.Pietro Santi Bartoli ( 1635 -1700) was a pupil of of Fr. Lemaire and N. Poussin, he was a painter and engraver, famous not so much for the original works he left and for reproductions of Renaissance paintings, but for his vast activity connected with the classical world.
