Pair of opalescent Murano glass wall sconces by Archimede Seguso, 1940s. They are in perfect condition and in working order. These wall lights feature an opalescent Murano glass diffuser in the shape of a cornucopia, a classic symbol of abundance and nourishment. The glass has a translucent quality with a slight iridescence, typical of Murano glass of this era. Each lamp is mounted on a rectangular brass back plate, which provides a sturdy and elegant support. The brass has an aged patina that enhances the vintage charm of the pieces. The lamps feature a single bulb, set inside the glass cornucopia, which creates a soft, diffused light when illuminated.
