Item description
Elegant Neapolitan Louis XVI mirror from the second half of the 18th century, entirely carved, carved and gilded with gold leaf. Original mercury glass and richly carved and gilded wooden frame. The cymatium, having a shape of an amphora with flowers, is very slender towards the top and lightens the richness of the ornaments making the whole graceful and well balanced. Two side dragons further embellish the upper part, while in the lower part the mirror rests on ferine feet also with rich carving and floral decorations. The scrolls and movement of the elaborate architecture of this mirror makes it a particularly fine object, distinguished by beautiful raceme and flower carving typical of its period. Complete with certificate of authenticity. We are at your disposal for further clarification or photographic details. Shipment throughout Italy, Europe and the Rest of the World in maximum security and traceable. Shipping will be arranged privately.
