Pair of Barcelona armchairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for Knoll International. Very soft hammered leather Volo Cognac. A few months old, perfect condition. Armchair designed by Mies van der Rohe and Reich in 1929 for the German pavilion at the Barcelona International Exposition. This armchair has become an icon of 20th-century design. The model has a slender, curved frame of flat chrome-plated steel with straps supporting cushions upholstered in soft cognac-grained leather; the cushions are quilted in leather with embossed buttons, offering both comfort and style. Its minimalist design, clean lines and balanced proportions make it perfect for any style; a timeless classic that embodies modernist elegance. Excellent condition, minimal signs of use.
