Danish teak dressing table with vanishing mirror, 1966. Perfectly combining functionality and elegance; made with the precision and attention to detail typical of Danish craftsmen. Its extraordinary quality is evident in the dovetailed drawer fronts and well-integrated handles. Its delicate lines and teak wood grain will add warmth and character to any space. On the back there is a description of the shipment dated 12.24.1966, probably when it had just left the factory; the manufacturer's mark is also present. In addition to the beautiful minimalist exterior, this piece offers incredible functionality: the top opens to reveal a spacious surface with a mirror and a handy drawer, creating a practical space for personal care and makeup. Just below the top, there is a drawer with some compartments, which provides organized storage and easy access to cosmetics and accessories. Alternatively, you can also use the piece of furniture as a normal chest of drawers with a convenient space for keeping a diary. Despite the passage of time, the dressing table has remained in excellent original condition. We replaced the old mirror with a new one for more convenient use. Since the original hinges holding the top up were broken, we came up with a simple fix using a wooden rail to keep it from falling. However, you can also place the top part against the wall. We made sure that all drawers work properly and smoothly. Traces of wear are minimal considering its age. The wood has been cleaned and rejuvenated with professional compounds to enhance its beauty. Its long history is evident from the writing on the back, which resembles the entries in old books you can sometimes find in antique bookstores, and its authenticity is further confirmed by the manufacturer's stamp.
