Pair of Murano blown glass calla lily-shaped vases, 1990s. Made of hand-blown glass, using the submerged glass technique; a technique that is achieved by creating multiple layers of glass, within a single object. To make these two vases, a layer of yellow and milk glass was used on the inside and a transparent one on the outside, enriched with orange brushstrokes in a swirl that creates an almost motion effect. At the base present engraved “Murano 98” inscription. Excellent condition, very lightly used with minimal signs of time and wear. The larger one is 16 cm high and 15 cm in diameter. The smaller one is 13 cm high and has a diameter of 11 cm.
