Adriano Parisot 1912-2004) was a prominent painter from Turin, known for his contribution to lyrical abstraction and the Movimento Arte Concreta (MAC). After an initial apprenticeship and wartime experience in Africa, he studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin. He debuted with a solo exhibition in 1946 and participated in the Venice Biennale in 1948 and 1950. In 1951, he joined MAC, collaborating with artists such as Dorfles and Munari, and organised the Turin section of the movement. He was also editor of the magazine ‘I 4 Soli’ from 1949 to 1969. His works, characterised by dynamic lines and futurist geometries, are exhibited in museums such as the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Turin and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
