This mid-century Italian ceiling or wall-mounted bookcase from the 1960s perfectly combines functionality and timeless elegance. Thanks to its imposing dimensions, this piece of furniture will not only elegantly fill a large part of the wall, but also optically expand the room. It is completely double-sided, with cabinets that open on both sides, an extremely functional feature that allows the wall unit to be used as a room divider. Made of rich rosewood, the wall unit features a beautiful wood grain pattern on both the outside and inside of the cabinets. The combination of black painted metal rails, brass finishes and the elegance of rosewood harmonise perfectly. The minimalist design allows the beauty of the wood to play the main role, ensuring that the piece blends perfectly with any interior style. Versatility is the key to this bookcase. The shelves and cabinets, mounted on black painted metal runners, are adjustable, allowing for easy customisation to suit your preferences and needs. They can be moved lower, higher or interchanged, offering flexibility for various arrangements. Our team has checked the bookcase, which remains in excellent condition. We made sure that all mechanisms function smoothly. The metal and brass elements were polished. The wooden parts were cleaned and rejuvenated with professional compounds. All small imperfections, such as patina marks, are consistent with its age. We chose to leave them because they contribute to the long history of the piece and do not detract from its overall aesthetics.
