Item description

Wardrobe signed Gaetano Borsani Atelier di Varedo with stackable doors and drawers, Milan 1920s. Measurements 200 x 59 x h 185 cm. Immediately after the First World War, Gaetano Borsani (1886-1955) opened a cabinet-making workshop in Varedo with about twenty workers. He began with a handcrafted production of stylish and ordinary furniture. But soon, a passionate experimenter, he began to design furniture with a modern line, a line that would be, together with the quality of execution, the hallmark of his home. In excellent condition, this vintage piece is in near-original condition. It may show slight traces of use and/or minor restoration.
