Item description

Pair of armchairs signed Gaetano Borsani Atelier di Varedo, measurements 56 x 60 x h 61 x h sed 31 cm. Immediately after the First World War, Gaetano Borsani(1886-1955) opened a cabinet-making workshop in Varedo with about twenty workers. He began with a handcrafted production of stylish and ordinary furniture. But soon, a passionate experimenter, he began to design furniture with a modern line, a line that would be, together with the quality of execution, the hallmark of his home. Excellent condition, vintage items in near-original condition. May show slight traces of use and/or minor restoration.
