English walnut-root Victorian work table from the first half of the 19th century. The top is embellished with a floral-pattern inlay around the edge and in the centre with a medallion on an ebonised background with the same motif. The under-top band conceals a drawer highlighted by the presence of a vent with its original key. Underneath the drawer is a large gimlet holder enhanced by the presence of a dense floral-patterned inlay. The feet are cabriolet-shaped resting on castors. Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method.
