Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe sofa in exotic woods belonging to the second half of the 19th century. The backrest has an upward arched contour characterised by curves and counter-curves interrupted in the central section by a curl with a precious wood reserve in the centre. The upholstered armrests end in an important double carved 'S'-shaped scroll. The two everted curl feet are connected by a mixtilinear apron with a cimasa in the centre and on the sides. Provenance: Naples (1850/60). Unrestored but in good condition with upholstery to be replaced. Measurements: 230x75 cm, H 125 cm. Certificate of Authenticity.
