Chestnut writing desk, 1960s

The seller failed to identify several significant issues with the desk. The most serious of which is that one leg has round holes presumably made by some sort of timber-eating insect. I am not sure whether I can keep the desk as I may need to have the desk fumigated. These should have been photographed or commented on. In addition, the top of the desk has a crack in it.
